I'm looking at this after looking at some of your older PoA art... it doesn't compare :) You've kept the characterizations, but your level of detail and accuracy has risen astronomically. It'd be really, really amazing if you'd do more of this fan art stuff... it's my opinion that yours is some of the best I've ever seen. And it'd be interesting to see your versions of the characters grow up, if you ever get to book 5.

Well I will continue with the series until the end of POA..I been considering doing pieces for book 5. Just a few scenes here and there...maybe even book 4 just 1 or two pieces perhaps.
Practice helps alot, so the more I work on them the more complex they become. I really loose myself in the backgrounds sometimes.
But I enjoy it and also feel great when people appreciate my attention to detail. Thanks for the comment!

I'm always impressed with your courage to take on full scenes from the books, including all the tiny details. When I see your work its like i'm looking right into my own imagination and it makes me wanna read them all over again.
...
Even though I just got done reading the last three years within the past week and a half. Words hurt my brain now.

I love the expressions! Especially Harry's. I'd adore to see you take on his feelings from the end of book 5. Now there's a challenge. :aww: Beautiful work as always. Simply BRILLIANT! ;)

Thanks!! I love observant comments and it makes me extremely happy to know my obsesive compulsive detail addiction is appreciated!
I take hours to get the right expression to show as I imagin it and give every character their own personallity and continuity from preveouse illustrations.

So thanks for the comment!

I have thought of it but I guess It is because I normally want everyone to be in the scene and the background too...like, I want a picture perfect angle and yes..I guess is not that original...But I am working on it! LOL I used to do interesting angles and then I stop...I need to get back to it...For some reasons when I picture the scenes they seem THATS it! thats how I should draw it...but yes I will give angle a shot...I been getting that advice for sometime now.

Thanks for the comment!

well, you know, i'm trying to draw comics, and when there are dialogues you *must* change the angle very often and try to find original solutions... i'm becoming obsessed by this!!! :D

bloody hell! ive always wanted to see someone draw this scene and this is the first time i've found it! YAY!
the only thing is that if they are supposed to be sitting in a corner of the restaurant, you will want to make the walls angled a bit more because now it just looks like they are sitting against a wall with two different types of wall. (brick and regular)

well is a big corner LOL I saw lots of pubs for this illustration and I kind of liked the stone plus normal wall ones because then you can hang paintings on them...kind of hard to get a nail in a rock....well I guess they could do it with magic [link]

This is so brilliant! I like how the window looks like you are actually looking out the window! Excellent use of dimensions and the fact that Harry looks like the Harry I imagine instead of the movie boy is an extra bonus! I can't wait to see your next piece!
